Highly endowed Nigerian chef Hilda Baci is one of the trending online conversations after popular Nigerian singer Shallipopi and his colleague Muyeez quit her fiance Damilola Akinwunmi, known as Dapper’s record label.
Yesterday, December 11th, 2024, Shallipopi, the “Obapluto” hitmaker, made headlines with a statement confirming his split with Hilda Baci’s fiance label, Dapper Music.
Shallipopi stirred controversy with messy allegations against his handler, Dapper, accusing him of exploitation and a lack of transparency regarding his finances. The drama also brought attention to Dapper’s celebrity chef girlfriend, Hilda Baci.
Following Shallipopi’s accusations, Nigerians speculated on how the artist’s money was being managed, sparking widespread debate.
Note that yesterday, fast-rising singer Muyeez parted ways with Dapper Music, citing a lack of transparency and stating that he feels abandoned and betrayed. Note that singer Seyi Vibez also left the Dapper Music label a few months ago.
It wasn’t long before netizens unearthed a 2023 video of Hilda Baci allegedly receiving a brand-new Range Rover Velar from Dapper as a birthday gift.
Speculations quickly followed, with some alleging that Dapper had been funding Hilda Baci’s lavish lifestyle using the earnings of Shallipopi and Seyi Vibez. The video has since fueled heated discussions online.
