PSG Smash Madrid to Seal Blockbuster Club World Cup Final with Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) showed no mercy on Wednesday night as they destroyed Real Madrid 4-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final. The match was played at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and now PSG will face Chelsea in the final on Sunday.

From the start, PSG looked ready for business. Just six minutes into the game, Fabian Ruiz scored the first goal after Ousmane Dembele stole the ball and passed it to him for an easy tap-in.

Only three minutes later, Dembele made it 2-0. He took advantage of a mistake by Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger and calmly scored past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

PSG kept attacking and added a third goal before 30 minutes were up. This time, Achraf Hakimi set up Ruiz again, and the Spanish midfielder scored his second of the night.

Real Madrid looked lost and had no answers. Even though PSG missed a big chance before halftime through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, they stayed in full control.

In the second half, PSG slowed the game down but kept the ball well and didn’t let Madrid get back into it.

The final goal came in the 82nd minute. Substitute Goncalo Ramos scored after a great team move, with Bradley Barcola making the final pass.

It was a complete performance from PSG, who now look like strong favorites to win the trophy.

They will play Chelsea in the final, after the English side beat Fluminense 2-0 in the other semi-final.
