She posted lovely pictures from their wedding day, where they were seen holding hands. In her caption, she wrote:

This sweet message has touched many hearts, especially because of the sad story behind it. Diogo Jota and Rute got married on June 22, 2025, but just 11 days later, on July 3, Jota sadly died in a car crash in Spain.
