“Fernandes Shines Bright as Amorim Hails Match-Winning Brace”

Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, has said he’s very happy that Bruno Fernandes didn’t leave the club this summer.

Bruno scored two goals in a 2-1 win over West Ham in a pre-season match in the U.S. The first goal came from a penalty, and the second was a beautiful long-range shot from outside the box at the MetLife Stadium.

Earlier in June, Bruno was thinking about joining Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, but he decided to stay at Manchester United.

Amorim said keeping Bruno was very important. He called the Portuguese star a great leader and praised him for his goals, assists, and leadership on and off the pitch.

“Last season, he was amazing. He scored, assisted, and helped lead the team. Now we have more players around him to help,” Amorim said.

In the game, Bruno played in a more attacking role. Amorim used Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte in midfield, while new player Matheus Cunha played alongside Bruno behind the main striker.
