Grealish to Undergo Everton Medical Before Loan Switch

Jack Grealish has agreed to leave Manchester City and join Everton on a season-long loan. He will have his medical check-up today (Monday) before the move is confirmed.
The 29-year-old didn’t play much for City last season, starting only seven Premier League games. City and Everton have agreed to share his £300,000-a-week wages so the deal can happen. There’s no option for Everton to buy him after the loan ends.
Grealish joined City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a British-record £100m. Since then, he has won three Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2023. But his form dropped last season, scoring just three goals in 32 matches. He was also not part of City’s pre-season team.
City manager Pep Guardiola said in June that Grealish needed a fresh start to get his confidence back. “Jack is an amazing player,” Guardiola said. “He just needs to play more often to show his quality.”
Everton’s coach, David Moyes, wants Grealish to settle in quickly as they prepare for the new season.
