Deeone, who was on Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) in 2018, said that joining the show was a mistake for him. He was in the house for 22 days during the ‘Double Wahala’ season but thinks the show did not really help his career.
In a recent talk, Deeone, who is also a comedian and social media critic, said many people who were on the show are now having a hard time with money.
He said, “Big Brother Naija was a mistake in my life. It didn’t really help me. Many people from the show are now struggling to find food.”
Deeone also talked about some famous people and other former housemates. He said singer Davido is more like a person who makes online content than a real musician. He said Davido is not as good as Wizkid, who he called Davido’s “boss and teacher.”
He also said Davido and Peller worked together because the internet made it easy to connect.
About Whitemoney, the winner of BBNaija, Deeone said he told him to talk more on social media, but he doesn’t think Whitemoney is really good at music. He joked that Whitemoney’s best skill is cooking jollof rice.
Deeone also said Kiddwaya, another ex-housemate, pretends to be richer than he really is.
Even though Deeone said all these things, he believes many young Nigerians like and support him.
