Barcelona Dismiss Rashford Loan Cut-Short Claims

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has shut down reports that Barcelona want to end Marcus Rashford’s loan early and send him back to Manchester United.
A Spanish paper, El Nacional, had claimed Barca were not happy with Rashford’s performances and were thinking of cutting his deal short — something that could even cost the club about £4 million.
So far, Rashford has only played three league games for new coach Hansi Flick. He started once, but was taken off at half-time against Levante.
But Balague says the story is “absolutely rubbish.” He explained that Barcelona still believe in Rashford and told his agent they are confident he will bounce back and shine again.
Rashford moved to Barcelona this summer after losing his place at Manchester United under new manager Ruben Amorim, who dropped him to the “bomb squad.”
