Afrobeats star Asake was recently seen in a viral video while trying to touch the Black Stone during his visit to Mecca.
In the video, the singer, whose real name is Asake (Ololade Ahmed), was surrounded by many people as he tried to get close to the sacred stone. Some people around him even lifted him up to help him reach it.
However, it was not easy because there was a very large crowd around the Kaaba. Many pilgrims were also trying to get close to the holy site at the same time.
The clip showed thousands of worshippers praying and performing religious activities at the Masjid al-Haram, the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
Asake is currently in Mecca, one of the holiest cities in Islam. During the holy month of Ramadan, many Muslims travel there to pray and focus on their faith.
In the video, the singer was wearing a white robe like many other pilgrims who visit the holy places.
Earlier, Asake also shared a video on his social media page showing the moment he prayed at Rawdah (Raudhatul Jannah), a very special place for prayer inside Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
