After Community Shield Triumph, Arsenal Near £55m Deal for Eze

Arsenal are getting very close to signing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, reports FootballTransfers.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder played a big role in Palace’s penalty win over Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday. Arsenal have been interested in him all summer.

The Gunners are ready to pay £55 million for Eze — £30 million now and the rest later. But Crystal Palace want to find another player to replace him before agreeing to the deal.

Eze joined Palace from QPR in 2020 and has become one of the best creative players in the Premier League.

If Arsenal sign him, he will join their other new players this summer — Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres.
