Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso has spoken about the rumours linking Rodrygo with a move away from the club.
Reports say that Manchester City are ready to pay big money for the Brazilian forward this summer. The talk grew stronger because Madrid’s attack is now packed with stars like Kylian Mbappé, Endrick, and Vinícius Jr. – making Rodrygo’s spot less secure.
But Alonso made it clear that what matters most to him is Rodrygo’s focus and commitment, not the noise about transfers.
He said:
“Summer always brings a lot of rumours. Rodrygo is doing well. I need all my players to stay committed and give 100% for the team. That’s my main concern right now.”
