Atalanta Warn Lookman Over Unauthorised Five-Day Absence

Italian club Atalanta are not happy with Nigerian star Ademola Lookman after he missed training for five days without telling them.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has not taken serious action yet because there are rumours that Inter Milan want to sign him and may soon make a new offer.
Even though he has been absent, Lookman is still under contract and the club has told him to come back to training. He is also recovering from a muscle injury, but it’s not clear if he is getting treatment at the club or somewhere else.
Sources say Atalanta will fine Lookman and cut part of his salary for the days he missed. The punishment will be confirmed at the end of August when the club checks its finances.
The team believes Lookman has broken his duties as a professional player and say they will not ignore the matter.
