Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham will not be back on the pitch until the end of October as he heals from shoulder surgery.
The England midfielder first hurt his shoulder back in November 2023 during a La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano. He dislocated it but kept playing, using special strapping to reduce the pain. In fact, he played over 100 games with the injury.
However, the pain refused to go away, so on July 16, 2025, he finally had surgery.
Reports say Bellingham is now doing rehab and following a special recovery plan. Real Madrid is being very careful because the operation was delicate and needs a lot of rest in the first stage.
This means the 22-year-old will miss the start of the 2025/26 season, including important La Liga and Champions League games, plus England’s World Cup qualifiers.
The club believes that once he is fully recovered, Bellingham will be back playing at his best.
