A hotel guard who said Diddy paid him $100,000 to delete videos of an attack on Cassie

The prosecutors said Diddy led a group that helped him do crimes like sex trafficking, drugs, burning cars, and bribing people to hide what happened.
Diddy’s lawyers said everything was just part of a “swingers lifestyle” where everyone agreed to join the parties. They said his helpers were just doing their jobs and didn’t break any laws.
One key piece of evidence was a video from 2016 showing Diddy hitting Cassie many times in a hotel room. Diddy’s lawyer said they admitted the violence but said it was separate from the parties with escorts.
The lawyer asked the jury to say Diddy was not guilty so he could go back to his family. Diddy’s mom and kids were at the trial showing support.
Since the jury only found him guilty on the two prostitution-related charges, the punishment will be based on those. Each charge could mean up to 10 years in jail, but the judge might give less time. No date has been set yet for his punishment.
