Chelsea Crowned in Gold: FIFA Badge Secured for Four Years After CWC Triumph

Chelsea will proudly wear the shiny gold FIFA Champions badge on their shirts for the next four years after beating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 3-0 in the final of the new Club World Cup.

The match was played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday, and Chelsea were on fire! Young star Cole Palmer scored two amazing goals and also gave the assist for Joao Pedro to score the third goal.

This win gave Chelsea the brand-new Club World Cup trophy, a huge prize of £100 million, and a special place in history as the first team to win FIFA’s new four-year tournament.

Before now, winners of the Club World Cup could only wear the gold badge for one year, but that has changed. FIFA president Gianni Infantino said that from now on, the winning team can wear the badge for four full years, until the next Club World Cup is held.

In the past, even big clubs like Liverpool were not allowed to wear the badge in all their matches. But now, Chelsea can wear it in every game, whether it’s in the Premier League or any other competition.

It’s a golden time for the Blues — and they’ll be showing it off on their shirts!
