Chelsea started the match with energy and even tried to attack on counter chances. They had a goal disallowed for offside through Marc Cucurella, but they could not keep up the pressure.

City take control

In the second half, City became stronger and started dominating the game. Cherki played a big role in attack and helped create chances.

He set up Marc Guehi, who scored easily to double the lead for City.

Not long after, Jeremy Doku took advantage of a mistake from Moisés Caicedo, ran forward with speed, and scored a strong finish to make it 3-0.

Title race gets tighter

With this win, Manchester City have reduced the pressure at the top of the table. It also puts more pressure on the league leaders, Arsenal, as the title race becomes more intense.
