Popular TikTok creator, Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, has shared the reason behind his decision to leave Islam and become a Christian.
In a recent live video chat with his fans, Peller said that his choice was shaped by painful memories from his childhood. He explained that he went to a Quranic school (Ile Kewu) when he was younger, where he was often punished harshly.
Peller said the beatings he got at the school left him deeply hurt and made him lose interest in Islam over time. As he grew older, he began looking for a different way to connect with God, which led him to Christianity.
“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian now. I go to church. When I was a child, I was beaten badly at the Quranic school, and that’s why I stopped going,” he said.
Peller now proudly says he is a Christian and is happy with his new faith.
