Farewell to a Legend: Nollywood Star Tom Njemanze Is Dead

The Nigerian movie world is sad right now. A popular and loved Nollywood actor, Tom Njemanze, has passed away at the age of 75.

Gistmilinaija found out that the actor died on Friday after being sick for a long time. He was fighting prostate cancer. Some time ago, a movie director named Stanley Ontop shared a video on Instagram, saying that Tom needed money for surgery to help with his illness.

Tom Njemanze became famous in the 1990s. He acted in many Nollywood movies that people still enjoy today. Some of the films he featured in include Tokunboh, Pounds and Dollars, Atosa, Issakaba, Osuofia in London, Brain Box, and Igbotic Love.

He was well known for his deep voice, the way he acted with feeling, and the way he grabbed people’s attention on screen. Many Nigerians, both at home and abroad, loved watching him.
