. “Furious Fernandes Blasts ‘Lazy’ Teammates After United’s Everton Stumble”

Bruno Fernandes was not happy after Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Everton in their last game of the U.S. tour.
Even though United won the Premier League Summer Series trophy, Bruno said the team still has big problems—especially in defence.
He called the performance “lazy” and said, “We’re not where we want to be.”
In the match, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount each scored to put United ahead twice. But Everton came back both times, and one of their goals was an own goal by Ayden Heaven.
Bruno was clearly upset after the match. “Every little thing matters,” he said. “We didn’t work hard enough when we didn’t have the ball, and we got punished for it. This club is known for winning, and we need to bring that back.”
He also reminded his teammates that fans pay a lot to watch them play. “We have to give them something better on the pitch,” he added.
