Galatasaray Return With Improved Offer for Osimhen After €70m Snub

Galatasaray have sent a new and better offer to Napoli to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. Both clubs now have a verbal agreement on a €75 million deal.

At first, Napoli said no to Galatasaray’s €70 million offer. But now, the Turkish champions have come back with a new plan: they will pay €40 million in cash and the remaining €35 million in parts over the next three years. This new offer was shared by top football reporter Fabrizio Romano.

One important thing: Galatasaray have agreed to provide a bank guarantee—a promise from the bank that they will pay the money even if the club can’t. This was something Napoli really wanted before saying yes.

Osimhen is said to have picked Galatasaray over a bigger-money offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. If Napoli approve the documents, Osimhen will go for his medical tests in Istanbul soon.

Last season, Osimhen was on loan at Galatasaray and had a great time—he scored 26 goals in the league and helped the team win both the league and the cup.

Now, the club wants him back for good to help defend their league title and try to go further in Europe after they crashed out of the Europa League last season.

The final part of the transfer will be done once Napoli fully checks and approves the bank papers.
