Nigerian singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, also known as Mr Real, has shared why he has not been releasing new songs.
According to Gistmilinaija, the singer spoke in a video on his Instagram page. He said he is scared to drop new music because of the bad security situation in Nigeria.
Mr Real also spoke about other artists and music fans. He said he does not understand how some musicians are still releasing songs and going to clubs while many bad things are happening in the country.
The “Legbegbe” singer said he feels it is not right for people to act like everything is normal when people are suffering.
In his words, he said he wakes up every day to sad and scary news. Because of this, he feels afraid to release new songs.
He also said Nigeria is facing serious problems, with people losing their lives. According to him, some people are even making money from the insecurity, while others continue to party and have fun.
Mr Real added that even though everyone has the right to live their life, the situation in the country is not normal. He said it feels like people are ignoring what is really happening, and he questioned if that is the right thing to do.
