Inter Milan Set Sights on Ademola Lookman in Major Transfer Push

Inter Milan are seriously interested in signing Nigerian star Ademola Lookman ahead of the 2025/26 football season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lookman is now Inter’s top target to boost their attack. The talented forward has been doing very well at Atalanta, and his club values him at around €50 million.

But Inter Milan don’t want to pay that much. They’re hoping to bring the price down to €35 million, which fits their budget for a new striker.

Even though there’s still a gap in the price, Inter are ready to push hard to get the deal done. They believe Lookman will be a very important player for their new-look team.

Lookman isn’t the only name on Inter’s list. They’re also looking at Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig, Eliesse Ben Seghir from Monaco, and Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea. But Lookman is at the top of their shortlist.

To make space for new signings, Inter are planning to let go of Mehdi Taremi, who is being linked with Fulham and Besiktas.

The Italian club has already started changing their attack. They have sold Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautović, brought in Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma, and recalled Francesco Pio Esposito from a loan at Spezia.

Lookman has been one of the best forwards in Serie A since joining Atalanta, and Inter believe he can bring that same magic to their team next season.
