Inter Milan are working hard to sign Nigerian football star Ademola Lookman from Atalanta before the end of July, as reported by Football Italia.
The Italian club really wants the 26-year-old winger and already made an offer of €40 million, but Atalanta said no. Now, Inter are ready to bring a new offer of €45 million, although Atalanta still want €50 million.
Both clubs are expected to talk again this week to try and reach an agreement.
Reports say Lookman has already said “yes” to Inter’s personal terms and is ready to join the club. Now, it’s just left for Inter and Atalanta to agree on the price.
Other big clubs like Napoli (Serie A champions) and Atletico Madrid (from Spain) are also watching the situation. But for now, Inter Milan are leading the race to sign the former RB Leipzig and Leicester City player.
