Popular Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, has celebrated her husband, Olu Jacobs, as he turns 83 years old.
Joke shared a sweet message on Instagram on Friday, talking about their long journey together. She said they met 45 years ago, when Olu Jacobs was 38 years old. She thanked God for all the happy times and even the tough moments they have shared.
In her message, she prayed for peace and strength for her husband in his old age. She asked God to always be with him and keep him strong.
Here’s part of what she wrote:“The one and only Sir J – we met when you were 38, and today you are 83 by God’s amazing grace! We thank God for the joy, the laughter, and even the tears. I pray your later years are peaceful. May God keep you safe and strong. Happy birthday, my love.”
Olu Jacobs is a well-known and respected actor in Nigeria. He has acted in many movies and plays over the years.
In recent times, he hasn’t been seen much in public because of health issues. Last year, Joke Silva shared that her husband has been dealing with dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), which has affected their relationship.
Even with the challenges, she continues to stand by him with love and support.
