I’m a Wise Woman — Unlike You! Iyabo Ojo Slams VeryDarkMan, Says People Should Stop Taking Him Seriously

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has fired back at social media critic VeryDarkMan (real name Martins Vincent Otse), calling him a hypocrite and a manipulator.
According to Gistmilinaija, Iyabo was reacting to a video where VeryDarkMan claimed she broke an agreement to apologise to singer Naira Marley and his friend Sam Larry. He said the agreement was made during a meeting at the Nigeria Police Cybercrime Centre, where Iyabo, Tonto Dikeh, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry were all present with their lawyers.
But Iyabo Ojo denied his claims in a video on Instagram. She said VeryDarkMan was twisting the story and trying to deceive people. She called him cunning and dishonest, and said Nigerians should stop believing him.
Iyabo explained that she spoke out against Naira Marley and Sam Larry because of videos and news online after the death of singer Mohbad. She said the videos showed Sam Larry mocking and even attacking Mohbad, which made her believe the bullying stories were true.
She said:
“VeryDarkMan, I saw your video. I know why you’re doing it – probably because you’ve been told I reported you to the police. So now you’re trying to confuse people again. But I am a wise woman. I know when to speak, when to be quiet, and when to act. You talk too much, and people should stop listening to you.”
Iyabo also said she was invited by the Cybercrime Centre while she was traveling to Tanzania for her daughter Priscilla’s wedding. She made it clear that she had never met Naira Marley in person before, but she used to promote his songs.
“I saw a video of Naira Marley dancing after Mohbad died. I was very upset. I also saw a video where Sam Larry was harassing Zlatan and Mohbad. That’s when I believed all the bullying stories,” she added.
She said, as a mother and a citizen, she had every right to speak out and use her platform to seek justice.
