Juventus Eye Shock Move for Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez

Italian football club Juventus has asked Liverpool about the chance to sign striker Darwin Nunez. This comes while Juventus is also trying to keep Randal Kolo Muani, who played for them on loan from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Kolo Muani joined Juventus six months ago and played very well. Because of that, the club wants him to stay longer. Juventus is talking to PSG about another loan deal — but this time, they want to include a rule that says they must buy him after the loan ends. The good news for Juve fans is that Kolo Muani also wants to stay in Italy, since he’s not getting enough playing time at PSG.
Even though Kolo Muani is their main target, Juventus is looking at other players too, just in case. According to Football Italia, they recently spoke with Liverpool to ask about Darwin Nunez.
Nunez, a 26-year-old striker from Uruguay, joined Liverpool in 2022 from Benfica for €85 million. But things haven’t gone too well for him. Last season, he scored only seven goals and made seven assists in 47 matches. Out of those seven goals, just five came in the English Premier League.
Earlier, another club — Napoli — also looked at signing Nunez. But they decided not to go for him because Liverpool wanted €50 million, so Napoli signed Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese instead.
Now, Juventus are trying to see if they can bring Nunez in on a loan deal, with a promise to buy him later — similar to what they’re planning for Kolo Muani.
There’s also interest from Saudi club Al-Hilal, who have made a big money offer for Nunez. But reports say the striker would rather stay and play in Europe.
