Mbappe’s Stunning Bicycle Kick Sends Real Madrid to Club World Cup Semis

Real Madrid are through to the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup after beating Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a thrilling match.

It was Kylian Mbappe who made the difference, scoring a brilliant bicycle kick in extra time to win the game for Madrid.

Madrid started strong, with Gonzalo Garcia scoring the first goal just 10 minutes into the game. Fran Garcia made it 2-0 shortly after, finishing off a good cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Spanish team could have scored more, with Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni coming close. Tchouameni even hit the crossbar!

But Dortmund didn’t give up. They scored late in the game through Max Beier to make it 2-1, and things got tense.

Then came the big moment—Mbappe scored a stunning bicycle kick in extra time to make it 3-1 for Madrid.

Dortmund got a penalty soon after when Dean Huijsen fouled Serhou Guirassy in the box. Huijsen was sent off with a red card, and Guirassy scored the penalty to make it 3-2.

In the final minutes, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made a huge save to stop Dortmund from scoring again.

With this win, Real Madrid will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals. It’s going to be another exciting match!
