Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of famous Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has shared how she gave birth to her first child. She and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, welcomed a baby boy recently.
Priscilla said she had to rush to the hospital very early at 3 a.m. when her labor started. She planned to dress nicely and take pictures at the hospital, but the baby came earlier than expected, so she couldn’t do that.
She joked that her baby boy wanted his own special day because his due date was on the same day as his dad’s birthday. Priscilla wrote, “We had to go to the hospital at 3 a.m.! Labor pains are not easy. All my plans to look good and take photos at the hospital were cancelled. I told my son, ‘Your due date is the same as your dad’s.’ But he said, ‘I want my day alone.’ Sorry, my love, your son wants to shine by himself.”
Priscilla and Juma got married earlier this year. They had a big wedding with many events in Tanzania and Nigeria between February and May.
In July, they announced they were having a baby. They also had a baby shower in Canada with family and friends, including Iyabo Ojo and actress Lola Alao. Later, they shared pictures from their maternity photoshoot and a party in Tanzania, where they revealed they were expecting a baby boy.
