Newcastle Tension Grows as Isak Trains Alone Over £300k Wage Demand

Alexander Isak’s future at Newcastle United is now uncertain. Reports say he’s been training alone and asking for a very big salary — £300,000 every week!

This news, shared by talkSPORT, has made some fans and former players worried.

Isak, a top striker from Sweden, didn’t play in Newcastle’s recent friendly match against Celtic. He’s also being linked with a move to Liverpool and clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Newcastle’s coach, Eddie Howe, said Isak missed the match to help him avoid all the talk about transfers.

Even though the club said Isak would join the team for their tour in Asia, photos on Tuesday showed him training by himself.

That same day, talkSPORT reported that Isak told the club he wants £300,000 per week — way more than what other Newcastle players earn.

Former Newcastle star Kevin Nolan spoke about the situation. He said the coach might be trying to protect the team by making Isak train alone.

“If a player starts acting differently, the coach must think about what’s best for the whole squad,” Nolan said. But he also added that Isak’s solo training could be for personal or family reasons.

Isak joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022. Since then, he has scored 62 goals in 109 games — a very important player for the team!
