Popular Nigerian DJ and activist, DJ Switch (real name Obianuju Catherine Udeh), has spoken out against the actions of famous Fuji singer Kwam 1 (Wasiu Ayinde) after a recent incident at the airport.
According to Gistmilinaija, DJ Switch said what Kwam 1 did was wrong and that he should not be treated specially just because he is a celebrity. She believes that in Nigeria, rich and powerful people often get away with bad behavior, while poor people are the ones who get punished.
DJ Switch shared her thoughts on Instagram. She said:
“Kwam 1 behaved badly at the airport, and it’s very shameful! But in Nigeria, the rich always go free, and the poor suffer. In a better country, Kwam 1 would have been charged by now! I wanted to say something to Abike Dabiri, but she’s not even worth it!”
Right now, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is still looking into the matter between Kwam 1 and ValueJet airline.
