Peter Okoye Reveals: “I Earn More Now Than When I Was With Psquare

Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, used to be one half of the famous music duo called Psquare. Now that he’s working alone, he says he makes more money and feels happier than when he was with the group.
Recently, Peter replied to some things his older brother, Jude Okoye, said about him and other artists who left Jude’s management. Jude had said he helped them become successful, but Peter disagrees.
Peter said Jude was just one of many managers they had, and that Jude was actually hired by him and his brother Paul, not the other way around. Peter even said Jude was fired, just like other managers before him.

Peter also accused Jude of causing him trouble by telling the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) things that led to Peter’s arrest. He said Jude later got arrested too because of his own words.
Talking about his solo career, Peter said he now earns more money from shows and endorsements than when he shared money with his brother and Jude in Psquare. He said it might be hard for some people to believe, but it’s true.
Peter said working alone is better for him both in money and in peace of mind. He also said he is done being nice when people disrespect him. He will now treat others the way they treat him: with respect if they respect him, and ignoring or cutting off those who don’t.
Finally, Peter challenged Jude and others to answer the main questions about their fight: are they honest or not? He called them thieves in a strong way.
The fight between Peter, his brother Paul (Rudeboy), and Jude Okoye has been going on for years. It led to the end of Psquare in 2024, even after they tried to come back together for a short time in 2021. Their problems are mostly about who manages their music, who gets paid what, and who owns their songs. The fight has caused legal cases and a lot of public arguing.
