Premier League Interest Cools – Rodrygo Set to Remain at Real Madrid

Brazilian star Rodrygo Goes is now expected to stay at Real Madrid this summer, after interest from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool faded away.
Rodrygo was recently linked with a move away from Madrid, especially after he played less during the FIFA Club World Cup, where Real Madrid were knocked out in the semi-finals by PSG with a heavy 4-0 loss.
This poor performance raised questions about his future at the club, and both Arsenal and Liverpool were said to be watching him closely.
At first, Arsenal looked ready to make a big offer for Rodrygo, but they have now signed Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres instead.
Liverpool, on the other hand, changed their focus to signing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt. They are also said to be working on a huge bid for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, which means they’re no longer chasing Rodrygo.
Real Madrid had set a high price tag of €75 million for Rodrygo, which made it hard for any club to sign him. With Arsenal and Liverpool now moving in other directions, it looks like Rodrygo will be staying at the Santiago Bernabéu for now.
