RB Leipzig are still waiting for Chelsea to make a serious move for Dutch star Xavi Simons.
Even though Chelsea are very interested in the 22-year-old, they haven’t sent an official offer yet. Simons had a great season playing for Leipzig on loan from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He scored 10 goals and gave 7 assists in just 25 games – that’s one goal or assist almost every match!
Leipzig wanted to keep Simons for good, but the player seems ready to leave. Now Chelsea are watching closely and could try to sign him soon.
But for now, nothing has been sent to Leipzig, so the transfer talks are slow.
Another Leipzig player, Benjamin Šeško, is also attracting attention. Newcastle United offered €75 million plus €5 million in add-ons for him, but Leipzig said no.
As for Simons, Leipzig are ready to talk – but only when Chelsea make a real offer. For now, everyone is waiting.
