Benjamin Sesko says he is ready to help Manchester United become the best team in England again after signing from RB Leipzig for £74 million.
The 21-year-old striker from Slovenia rejected the same offer from Newcastle United. He chose Manchester United because of the club’s history, big dreams, and the new manager, Ruben Amorim.
“It’s because of the club,” Sesko explained. “Manchester United is a famous and amazing team. The players are very good and getting even better. That makes me want to be part of it. The manager also played a role—he’s a great coach and a great person. I’m excited to work with him.”
Sesko believes Manchester United is improving and will soon be back at the top. “We are getting better step by step. It’s only a matter of time before we are flying high again,” he said.
Sesko also looks up to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a Manchester United legend. He hopes to make a fast impact at the club just like Zlatan did before injury stopped him in 2017.
