Sesko Snubs Man United for Newcastle Move

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has decided to join Newcastle United instead of Manchester United, according to reports from Slovenia.
The 22-year-old star will be heading to play under Newcastle coach Eddie Howe. One big reason for his decision is that Newcastle will be playing in the Champions League next season. Also, Newcastle is ready to pay the money RB Leipzig wants for him.
Manchester United really wanted Sesko too. Their recruitment chief, Christopher Vivell, even worked with Sesko before at RB Salzburg. But Newcastle moved faster and are now close to signing him.
Sesko scored 21 goals last season and is worth more than £70 million. He also has a special deal with Leipzig, which allows him to leave if the right offer comes in.
He is expected to replace Alexander Isak at Newcastle. Isak scored 23 goals last season and has become a target for Liverpool. They recently offered £110 million for him, but Newcastle rejected it. The Magpies want £150 million before letting him go.
Isak is currently training alone at his old club, Real Sociedad, as talks about his future continue.
Newcastle had also looked at other strikers like Ollie Watkins and Yoane Wissa. But now, Sesko is their top choice. If he signs, it could make way for Isak to leave.
