Tottenham Hotspur are talking with Manchester City about signing winger Savinho in a deal worth around €50 million (£43.3m).
Manchester City are not really trying to sell the 21-year-old Brazil star, but Savinho is open to leaving. According to The Athletic, Pep Guardiola usually doesn’t stop players from leaving if they want to go.
No final agreement has been made yet, but Spurs are pushing hard to get the former Girona player.
Savinho’s contract with City runs until June 2028. He joined last summer from Girona, another club in the City Football Group.
Last season, he scored 3 goals in 48 games for Manchester City. The year before, he scored 11 goals for Girona, helping them finish in the top four of La Liga for the first time ever.
Savinho started his career at Atlético Mineiro in Brazil. He has also played for Troyes in France and PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands before making his name in Spain.
He has scored 1 goal in 13 games for the Brazil national team.
