Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior may be on his way out of the club after a disagreement about his salary.
Reports say the Brazilian forward wants to earn the same amount of money as Kylian Mbappe before he signs a new deal. Mbappe is said to make around €23 million every year, while Vinicius currently earns €15 million.
Vinicius wants a raise, but the club is not ready to give him that much. They believe it’s too much money, especially because Vinicius didn’t have his best season — he scored 22 goals in 58 games.
Talks between the club and Vinicius’ team have stopped for now, and no deal has been reached.
According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is already thinking of life without Vinicius. He’s now looking at Erling Haaland from Manchester City as a possible replacement.
Perez dreams of putting Haaland and Mbappe together at the Santiago Bernabéu, which could make Madrid’s attack even stronger.
