Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe was moved to tears on Sunday night, May 17th, after receiving a heartfelt surprise from her producer, Efe Irele, at the premiere of their upcoming film, My Mother Is A Witch.
The actress, who plays a lead role in the highly anticipated movie, was caught off guard when Efe presented her with a beautiful bouquet following the screening.
Mercy shared the emotional moment in a series of clips posted to her social media, describing it as the highlight of the evening.
“This was tonight’s highlight for me. When your producer gives you flowers right after the premiere of her movie, you will know you did something right,” Mercy wrote.
Expressing deep gratitude, she praised Efe Irele for her vision and hard work on the film and thanked her for the thoughtful gesture.
“@efeirele thank you so much for this moment!!! I have said this to you before, and I am saying it again, you did a thing with the movie My Mother Is A Witch. A big shout-out to my director and writer extraordinaire, @niyi_akinmolayan. You sabi! And thank you for having me on this project!!!” she added.
