Will the Holy Spirit Fuel the Generator?” – Odumodublvck Fires Back at Church Donation Critics

Popular Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has said he would gladly give ₦1 billion to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) if he had the money.
He shared this on his 𝕏 (Twitter) page, saying that he and his family will always support the work of God, no matter what people say. According to him, serving God should come from the heart and not because someone is forced to do it.
Odumodublvck made it clear that just giving money to the church doesn’t mean someone will go to heaven. What really matters, he said, is how people live and serve God with love and honesty.
In his post, he wrote:
“If I had a billion to give RCCG, I would give it and even more. Nobody said you must give money to enter heaven. But as for me and my family, we will always support God’s work with pride, no matter what people say. You’re just helping fulfill the Bible.”
He also spoke about people who make fun of church donations. He asked:
“Is it the Holy Spirit that will fuel the generator? Is it the Holy Spirit that will pay for transport during evangelism? The church needs money, even more than some businesses.”
The rapper added that pastors and priests often help many people behind the scenes. After church, many members go home or eat out, but some people wait behind hoping for support from the pastor. That money has to come from somewhere.
Odumodublvck ended by saying people should be grateful they are not in need and should stop mocking those who give to the church.
