Super Falcons forward Esther Okoronkwo is trending online after saying something bold – she thinks even football legend Cristiano Ronaldo can’t score the kind of goal she scored at the 2024 WAFCON (Women’s Africa Cup of Nations)!
Okoronkwo helped Nigeria win the tournament, scoring one goal and giving two assists. She was one of the stars of the final match where Nigeria beat Morocco 3-2 to win a record 10th WAFCON title. Her great performance in that match earned her the Woman of the Match award.
In a video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by @AsakyGRN, Esther confidently talked about her goal, saying:
