Popular music label, Chocolate City Group, has just announced a big move! The company has made Ifeyinwa Anyadiegwu their new Vice President.
Ifeyinwa is not new to the music scene. She has worked behind the scenes for over 8 years, helping the label grow and succeed. She knows a lot about music business and law, and she has helped Chocolate City sign top stars like Tariq, Young John, and Blaqbonez.
In addition to being Vice President, she will also be in charge of Business and Legal Affairs for the label. That means she will help protect the rights of artists and make sure all deals are fair and legal.
The CEO of Chocolate City, Abuchi Ugwu, shared the news in a statement. He praised Ifeyinwa for her hard work, smart thinking, and how much she has helped the company grow. He said her leadership will help take African music to the world.
Ifeyinwa also shared her excitement, saying:

She studied law and has a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Manchester. She has also helped improve music copyright laws in Nigeria and has won many legal battles to protect artists.
