Barcelona Beat Como, But Raphinha Left Amazed by Rashford’s Miss

Barcelona ended their pre-season with a big 4-0 win against Italian side Como, but one moment had fans talking more than the goals.

In the second half, Marcus Rashford, who is on loan from Manchester United, went past Como’s goalkeeper Jean Butez. With the goal wide open, everyone thought he would score — but his shot went just wide! Raphinha, his teammate, couldn’t hide his shock.

Before the miss, Rashford had played well, even giving the pass that helped Raphinha score. Fermin Lopez, Raphinha, and young star Lamine Yamal all got on the scoresheet for Barcelona.

Rashford, 27, joined Barca this summer and scored his first goal for the club on August 4 against Daegu FC. The miss against Como may raise questions about whether he is fully ready before Barcelona’s first La Liga game against Mallorca on August 16.
