“City’s Summer Signings Steal Spotlight in 4-0 Wolves Demolition”

Manchester City began their Premier League season in style, beating Wolves 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Two of City’s new players, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki, impressed the fans right away.
Reijnders, who joined the club this summer after Kevin De Bruyne left for Napoli, scored a goal and also helped create two more. Cherki came on in the second half and scored just eight minutes later with a fine finish.
Erling Haaland was also on fire, scoring two goals – the first in the 34th minute and another early in the second half. His goals made sure Wolves had no chance of coming back.
It was a strong start for Pep Guardiola’s side, especially after the struggles of last season.
There was a small scare when new signing Nico Gonzalez fell awkwardly in injury time, but he managed to continue after some treatment.
Meanwhile, Wolves fans showed love to their former striker Diogo Jota, clapping and chanting his name during the game.
