Darwin Núñez Set for Al-Hilal Switch After Agreeing Personal Terms

Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez is on his way out of Liverpool after agreeing to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
Nunez has not been in the best form for Liverpool, scoring only 7 goals in 47 games last season. The new Liverpool coach, Arne Slot, doesn’t see him as part of his plans going forward.
At first, European clubs like AC Milan and Napoli showed interest, but it was Al-Hilal that made a strong offer and moved fast to sign him.
According to top football reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool and Al-Hilal agreed on a €65 million deal (with bonuses included) on Wednesday morning.
Nunez also asked for a big salary — and Al-Hilal agreed to pay it all. Now, only the medical tests and paperwork are left before the move becomes official.
Liverpool had signed Nunez from Benfica for about £85 million, but sadly, he never really lived up to expectations at Anfield.
Now, a fresh start awaits him in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal.
