“Extorting 14 Billion Naira from us by registration alone is a scam” – Mixed Reactions as Over 8,391 candidates file complaints against JAMB over low UTME scores

The development was revealed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @winexviv, who disclosed that the candidates had filled a formal complaint form, which would be presented in court to compel JAMB to release detailed result sheets.

According to the post, the aggrieved students believe the board’s system experienced glitches that led to inaccurate results, and they are seeking full transparency to verify what they got wrong, what the correct answers were, and possibly initiate a fair dispute process.

“Currently, we have 8,391 students who have sent in their complaints regarding the glitches in the JAMB 2025 exam,” @winexviv wrote. “There’s plenty of evidence that JAMB’s system was inefficient, causing serious harm to these students’ mental health.”

“The destinies of these students are at stake. Students, we won’t let our guards down!” the post added.
