“Hamstrung! Onana Sidelined for Man United’s Pre-Season Campaign”

Manchester United have been hit with bad news just before the new football season begins. Their main goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has gotten hurt and won’t be able to play in pre-season matches.

Onana picked up a hamstring injury during training at Carrington, and reports from The Telegraph say he might be out for 6 to 8 weeks. This means he could miss United’s first Premier League game against Arsenal on August 17.

This injury is a big problem for new coach Ruben Amorim, who is trying to rebuild the team after a terrible season that saw United finish 15th in the league.

While Onana recovers, Turkish goalie Altay Bayindir is expected to step in. Other backup keepers include Tom Heaton, a veteran who recently signed a new deal, and young Radek Vitek, who is just 21.

Because of Onana’s injury, Manchester United may now move quickly to sign a new goalkeeper. One name being linked is Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. The Argentine, who helped his country win the World Cup, is said to be open to joining United this summer.

Some people at the club even believe Martinez would be a better option than Onana, who struggled with form last season.
