KWAM1 Speaks Out Amid Probe Into Airport Alcohol Scandal

King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also called KWAM1, a famous Nigerian fuji singer, has responded to what the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said about him acting badly at the airport.
FAAN had said KWAM1 spilled alcohol on an airport worker while trying to get on a ValueJet flight at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. They said he was warned not to bring alcohol on the plane but didn’t listen.
But KWAM1’s team explained that this story is not true. They said the drink he had was just plain water, given to him while he waited in the airport lounge. They also said he did not act in a way that would harm anyone or break any rules.
Only KWAM1 and his assistant were involved in what happened. Some passengers who saw everything told him to stay calm because he was under a lot of pressure.
KWAM1’s team said he did not block the plane or stop anything from happening. They also shared that airport and airline officials apologized to him and even offered to fly him to Lagos on a private jet for free. But KWAM1 politely said no.
They also said the pilot’s license has now been suspended because of what happened, and the pilot might be trying to blame KWAM1 to cover up her own mistake.
KWAM1’s team asked the media and the public not to believe rumors and to wait for the truth. They said KWAM1 always follows the rules and is working with the authorities to sort everything out.
