Liverpool Join €100M Battle for Arsenal’s Top Target

Liverpool have officially entered the race to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes, who is also a top target for Arsenal.
Rodrygo, 23, is one of the brightest young stars in football. He has helped Real Madrid win many big trophies, including the Champions League. But now, with new manager Xabi Alonso in charge, Rodrygo is not getting as much time on the pitch.
Because of that, the Brazilian star is thinking about leaving to find a team where he can play more often.
Real Madrid have set a €100 million price tag on him, and apart from Liverpool and Arsenal, Bayern Munich are also keeping an eye on the situation.
Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, wants to bring in a top attacker before the 2025/26 season begins. Even though the Reds have already signed some players this summer, they are still looking to add more firepower up front.
Along with Rodrygo, Liverpool are also looking at other big names like Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Hugo Ekitike (Eintracht Frankfurt), and Marcus Rashford (Manchester United).
Arsenal, who were once leading the race to sign Rodrygo, now have serious competition from their Premier League rivals. Coach Mikel Arteta sees Rodrygo as the perfect fit for his team after missing out on other top players like Nico Williams.
It’s now a battle between top clubs — and the Rodrygo transfer story is just getting started!
